HOMEMADE MEATBALLS
Homemade meatballs are a culinary delight, offering a perfect blend of savory flavors and a comforting, hearty texture. Crafting these delectable spheres from scratch allows for a personalized touch, combining ground meat, breadcrumbs, herbs, and spices.
Ingredients:
500 g ground meat (beef + pork)
1 egg
60g parmesan
30 ml (2 tablespoons) olive oil
1 clove of garlic, minced
5 g (2 tablespoons) parsley, chopped
30 g fresh breadcrumbs
30 ml (2 tablespoons) milk
salt and pepper to taste
all-purpose flour for dredging
120 ml dry white wine
120 ml of water
Preparation:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the ground beef, egg, Parmesan, garlic, olive oil, parsley, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and pepper.
2. Form the meat mixture into balls and dredge each one in flour.
3. Heat a little more olive oil in a frying pan and cook the meatballs for 5 minutes per side, or until crispy and golden.
4. Pour wine and water into the meatball pan and simmer for 10 more minutes.
