Hamburger bread

Hamburger bread
The hamburger bun is an essential component of the classic hamburger. It is usually soft, slightly sweet and with a spongy texture. Its ability to hold ingredients together and absorb meat juices makes it the perfect choice for building the perfect burger.
Ingredients
For the mass:
• 500 grams of wheat flour
• 240 ml of warm milk
• 60 ml of warm water
• 60 grams of melted butter
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 7 grams of active dry yeast
For coverage (optional):
• Sesame seeds
• Beaten egg for brushing
Make sure you have all fresh, quality ingredients, and consider lightly toasting the buns to give your homemade burgers an extra touch of flavor and texture.

Preparation
1. In a large bowl, mix the dry yeast with the warm water and a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit for about 5-10 minutes or until the mixture is bubbly and active.
2. Add the warm milk, the rest of the sugar, the melted butter and the egg to the active yeast mixture. Stir well.
3. Add the flour and salt to the liquid mixture. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10-15 minutes or until smooth and elastic. You may need to add a little more flour if the dough is too sticky.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
5. Once the dough has doubled in size, divide it into 6-8 equal portions and shape each portion into balls.
6. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between them. Slightly flatten each ball to form a hamburger bun shape.
7. Optionally, you can brush the tops of the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
8. Let the breads rest for another 15-20 minutes while you preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
9. Bake the loaves in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown on top and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
10. Remove the buns from the oven and let them cool on a rack before cutting them in half and using them to make delicious burgers.
Enjoy your homemade hamburger buns! You can customize them even more by adding ingredients like garlic powder, onion powder, or herbs to the dough for extra flavor.
