Ground beef roulade

Ground beef roulade

A ground beef roulade is a delicious dish where seasoned ground beef is rolled up with various fillings like cheese, vegetables, or herbs. The beef is usually flattened into a thin layer, then the fillings are spread on top before rolling it into a log shape.

Ingredients:

500 grams of ground beef
(To season the meat I used 1/2 packet of onion cream, garlic, salt, Bahian seasoning and coriander 200 grams of cheese
200 grams of ham

Fried bacon slices

Vinaigrette to taste (I prepared a simple tomato and onion vinaigrette. Then I seasoned it with salt, oil, vinegar and oregano)
5 potatoes cut in half and pre-cooked (I boiled the potatoes and then seasoned them with salt, olive oil and rosemary)

Method of preparation:

Add all the seasonings to the meat and mix very well with your hands.  Place the meat in a bag and, using a rolling pin, roll it out into a rectangle.

Try to leave it thin!  After opening completely, cut the top of the bag and start filling.  Place a layer of ham, a layer of cheese, then add the Vinaigrette and, to finish, the bacon slices.

Using the plastic bag at the bottom, roll the meat until it forms a roulade.  Roll it slowly and give it a little squeeze so it stays firm and doesn’t open.  Place the roulade on a baking tray and cover with aluminum foil.

Squeeze the sides so it stays closed.  Place the potatoes around and place in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Open the oven, remove the aluminum foil and leave it a little longer until it browns.
