Stuffed peppers with ground beef

Stuffed peppers with ground beef make for a hearty and flavorful meal. Start by prepping the peppers, cutting off the tops and removing the seeds. Next, brown the ground beef with onions, garlic, and your favorite seasonings like paprika, cumin, and oregano.

Ingredients

4 red, yellow and green peppers
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 chopped onion
500g of ground beef
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
3 tablespoons chopped green olives
2 chopped cooked carrots
1 chopped French bread
Oil for greasing

Method of preparation

Using a knife, cut off the caps of the peppers and remove the seeds.  Reserve.
In a pan, add the olive oil, garlic and onion.  Place over medium heat and fry until golden.

Add the ground beef, salt, pepper and sauté for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from the heat, add the parsley, olives, carrot, bread soaked in water and squeezed and mix well.

Stuff the peppers and close with the reserved lids, securing with toothpicks.
Place in a greased pan and bake in a preheated medium oven for about 25 minutes, turning halfway through the time.
