Creamy Shrimp Scampi Pasta with Cajun Spice

Indulge in the exquisite flavors of creamy shrimp scampi pasta with a Cajun twist. Succulent shrimp are sautéed to perfection, bathed in a luscious, velvety sauce that combines the richness of cream with the zesty kick of Cajun spices.

Ingredients:

12 raw shrimps
1 serving of linguine pasta
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbs. butter
1/2 c. heavy cream
shredded parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp. basil
salt and pepper to taste
flour (to thicken)
cajun seasoning
1/4 c. parsley
White wine
Olive oil

Directions:

Cook linguine according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the butter, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of white wine, and bring to a boil.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the shrimp to the pan and generously season them with cajun seasoning. Cook until pink on one side, flip them, and cook for another minute, then remove them from the pan.

In the same pan, add heavy cream, basil, parsley, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and whisk in flour until sauce thickens.
Lower heat to medium-low and add shrimp back to the pan. Toss to coat with sauce.
Serve the shrimp and sauce over the linguine, and top with shredded parmesan cheese.
