Super creamy Nutella slices
Super creamy Nutella slices are a decadent treat perfect for satisfying sweet cravings. Starting with a base of buttery, flaky puff pastry, spread a generous layer of Nutella over the top, ensuring every bite is infused with rich hazelnut chocolate goodness.
INGREDIENTS (for 1 tray)
FOR THE DOUGH
4 eggs (size M)
200g sugar
200 ml neutral cooking oil (e.g. rapeseed oil)
250 ml milk
300 g wheat flour (Type 405)
3 tbsp baking cocoa
1 pack of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
150 ml cold milk (for soaking)
FOR THE CREAM LAYER
400 g cream
2 packs of cream stiffener
7 tbsp nut nougat cream (approx. 350 g)
500g mascarpone
FOR THE CHOCOLATE GLAZING
200 g dark chocolate
200 g cream
PREPARATION
1st step
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (fan oven: 160 degrees). Whisk together eggs, sugar & oil. Add milk & stir briefly. Mix flour, baking cocoa, baking powder & salt.
Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix everything into a uniform dough. Grease a tray (39 x 26 x 4 cm) or line it with baking paper. Pour the dough onto the tray and smooth it out.
2nd step
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, measure out the milk to drink. Use a toothpick to make small holes in the hot cake.
Immediately pour the milk over the hot cake and spread it until the milk is completely absorbed into the cake. Allow the cake to cool completely, then remove it from the tin and place a rectangular cake frame around the cake.
3rd step
Beat the cream until stiff and keep it cool until further processing. Mix the mascarpone with the nut nougat cream until smooth, then carefully fold the cream into the cream.
Pour the chocolate cream onto the cake and smooth it out. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour.
