PUFUDUK PASTRY

PUFUDUK PASTRY

PUFUDUK PASTRY is a delightful treat originating from Turkish cuisine, known for its flaky layers and sweet filling.

Materials

-1 glass of milk (warm)
-1 glass of water (warm)
-1 water glass measure of oil
-2 egg whites (on yolk)
-1 pack of “fresh yeast” or
-2 tablespoons of dry yeast
-3 tablespoons of sugar
-1 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

-Flour (up to 7 cups on average) until you get a dough that will stick to your hands.

Let’s take the liquid ingredients into the kneading bowl and mix them.

Let’s start kneading by adding the flour little by little.

It is important to knead the dough well.

Let’s ferment the dough for 45-1 hours.

Then, tear off the meringues and put the stuffing and cover it.

I used cheese, it’s up to you.

Let’s let it rise on the tray for 15 minutes.

Put it aside on the tray.

Let’s apply the egg yolk we reserved.

You can preferably use sesame black cumin. Let’s bake it in the oven at 200 degrees until it turns golden brown.
