Meatballs with Sauce

Juicy, tender meatballs swimming in a rich, flavorful sauce make for a comforting and satisfying meal. Whether it’s a classic marinara sauce or a creamy Alfredo, the sauce envelops each meatball, infusing it with layers of savory goodness.

Materials

For the meatballs
400 g ground beef
1 onion grated
1-2 cloves of garlic grated
1 egg
4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of ground pepper
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Half a teaspoon of cumin
5-6 sprigs of parsley finely chopped

For the sauce
1.5 tablespoons of flour
1.5 cups vegetable broth (alternative
1 chicken bouillon
100 ml cream
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of ground pepper
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
1 pinch finely chopped parsley

Preparation of

Knead the ingredients needed for the meatballs in a deep bowl for five minutes, lightly oil your hands, shape them into round or oval shapes, cover them and let them rest for half an hour.

Add four tablespoons of oil to a suitable pan, when it gets hot, lightly fry the meatballs front and back and place them on a plate.

Add half a tablespoon of butter to the same pan, add the flour and fry until the smell disappears, add the vegetable juice, stir quickly, add the cream, when it starts to boil, add the mustard and spices and stir.

Add the meatballs into the sauce, sprinkle finely chopped parsley, close the lid and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.

If your sauce is thick, you can add some hot water. You can serve it with pasta or mashed potatoes.
