Zucchini chocolate cake

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CAKE
350 g zucchini
4 eggs (size M)
180 g sugar
130 ml sunflower oil
180 g wheat flour (type 550)
1 pack of baking powder
100 g ground almonds
60 g baking cocoa
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
100 g dark chocolate drops
FOR THE GLAZE
150 g chocolate coating (whole milk or dark)
ALSO
a little fat for the mold
PREPARATION
1. For the zucchini chocolate cake, wash the zucchini, grate finely and squeeze in a fine sieve or a tea towel. Grease a loaf pan (30 cm). Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top and bottom heat (160 degrees fan).
2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy. Pour in the oil and stir everything together again. In a second bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder, ground almonds, cocoa, cinnamon and salt. Add to the moist dough and stir everything together until it is smooth.
3. Fold in the grated zucchini together with the chocolate drops. Pour the dough into the loaf pan, smooth it out and bake the zucchini cake with chocolate in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes. Remove from the oven, let it cool in the pan, turn it out and let it cool completely on a cake rack.
4. For the glaze, chop the chocolate coating and melt it in a water bath. Cover the cooled cake with the chocolate glaze and let it cool. Enjoy!
