HOMEMADE BEEF STEW
HOMEMADE BEEF STEW
Homemade beef stew is a comforting dish, perfect for chilly evenings or lazy Sundays. Start by browning cubes of beef chuck in a hot pan to build flavor, then sauté onions, carrots, and celery until softened.
INGREDIENTS:
2 lb beef cut into squares
1 tablespoon oil
2 cloves of crushed garlic
1 onion, diced
2 carrots, diced
2 potatoes cut into squares
1 coriander leaf
Half cup of white wine
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 green pepper, diced
A quarter cup of tomato paste
Salt and pepper
PREPARATION:
In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the meat until golden brown.
Add the onion, pepper, garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
When the onion is caramelized, add the potatoes and carrots, sauté for another 5 minutes, then add the wine, vinegar, tomato paste, coriander, salt and pepper to taste.
Then we cover and let it cook over low heat for about 40 minutes to 1 hour until the meat is soft.
Ready, you can accompany it with white rice or whatever you prefer.
