Meatball Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb frozen meatballs
1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups uncooked rotini pasta
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In the prepared baking dish, add frozen meatballs in an even layer.
Pour pasta sauce and water over the meatballs.
Add uncooked rotini pasta to the baking dish, stirring gently to combine and ensure the pasta is submerged in the sauce.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and stir the pasta and meatballs to ensure even cooking.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over the cheese.
Return the baking dish to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
