Preparation of chocoflan or impossible cake
The way to prepare the chocoflan or impossible cake is simple, below we will tell you how to do it:
• Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180°C.
• Prepare the caramel. To do this, put the sugar and a little water in a small pot. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes or until melted and golden brown.
• Pour the caramel into a baking mold and cover the entire surface.
• To make the flan, take a bowl and beat the eggs until they are foamy.
• At that point, add the condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla. Bat very well.
• It’s time to prepare the chocolate cake. Mix the wheat flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
• In another bowl, beat the sugar with butter until you get a creamy mixture and the butter turns whitish.
• Add the eggs one by one and continue beating.
• Add the vanilla and beat for a minute.
• Combine the two mixtures and integrate completely. Beat well until there are no lumps.
• Pour the flan over the caramel in the mold and do the same with the cake mixture.
• Place the mold in a bain-marie and cook for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the chocoflan comes out clean.
• Remove the mold from the heat source and let it cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate for 2 hours.
• When it is completely cool, unmold the chocoflan and serve it in portions.
