INGREDIENTS
FOR THE MEAT
400 g chicken breast or turkey breast
FOR THE MARINADE
100 ml light soy sauce or light soy sauce
50 ml water
1 tsp sugar
FOR THE VEGETABLES
1 bell pepper
2 carrots
1 leek (small stick)
1 onion
150 g fresh soy sprouts
100 g bamboo shoots (from a can)
FOR THE SAUCE
200 ml light soy sauce or light soy sauce
40 ml rice vinegar
¼ tsp sambal oelek
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
ALSO
4 tbsp sesame oil
PREPARATION
1. Cut the meat into slices about 0.5 cm thick. For the marinade, whisk the soy sauce, water and sugar together with a whisk. Marinate the meat in it for about 30 minutes.
2. For the vegetables, wash and clean the peppers, carrots and leeks. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut into strips. Peel the carrots and cut into thin slices. Cut the leeks into rings. Peel the onion and cut into strips. Wash the soy sprouts and drain well. Drain the bamboo shoots and drain.
3. Mix the sauce in a bowl: To do this, mix the light soy sauce with the rice vinegar, sambal oelek, sugar and cornstarch so that the cornstarch does not clump.
4. Heat the sesame oil in a pan and first fry the meat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the chopped vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Pour the sauce over it, let it simmer briefly and then remove from the heat so that the sauce does not become too salty. Enjoy your meal!
