Ingredients
Chocolate Cake Layers:

โ 2 large eggs
โ 1 cup buttermilk

Ganache:
โ 1 cup heavy cream
โ 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
โ 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Whipped Cream Filling:
โ 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
โ 2 tbsp powdered sugar
โ 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1๏ธโฃ Preheat Oven โ 350ยฐF (175ยฐC); grease and flour mini cake molds or line with parchment.
2๏ธโฃ Make the Cake Batter โ
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, cocoa.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla.
Add wet to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Stir in boiling water until the batter is thin and silky.
3๏ธโฃ Bake Mini Cakes โ
Fill molds โ
full. Bake 18โ20 min, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before removing from pans.
4๏ธโฃ Ganache Time โ
Heat cream to a simmer; pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit 1 min, then whisk smooth.
Add butter, stir in until glossy. Let cool slightly to thicken.
5๏ธโฃ Whip the Cream โ
Beat cold cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
6๏ธโฃ Assemble โ
Slice cakes in half horizontally.
Spread whipped cream on bottom halves.
Top with other halves, then spoon ganache over the top so it drips seductively down the sides.

Top with extra whipped cream, chocolate curls, or even berries.
