Rich, moist chocolate cake + whipped cream filling + glossy ganache = one royally irresistible dessert in every dreamy bite!

Ingredients

Chocolate Cake Layers:
โ— 1ยฝ cups all-purpose flour
โ— 1 tsp baking powder
โ— ยฝ tsp baking soda
โ— ยผ tsp salt
โ— 1 cup granulated sugar
โ— ยพ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
โ— 2 large eggs
โ— 1 cup buttermilk
โ— ยฝ cup unsalted butter, melted
โ— 1 tsp vanilla extract
โ— ยฝ cup boiling water

Ganache:
โ— 1 cup heavy cream
โ— 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
โ— 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Whipped Cream Filling:
โ— 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
โ— 2 tbsp powdered sugar
โ— 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1๏ธโƒฃ Preheat Oven โ€“ 350ยฐF (175ยฐC); grease and flour mini cake molds or line with parchment.
2๏ธโƒฃ Make the Cake Batter โ€“
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, cocoa.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla.
Add wet to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Stir in boiling water until the batter is thin and silky.

3๏ธโƒฃ Bake Mini Cakes โ€“
Fill molds โ…” full. Bake 18โ€“20 min, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before removing from pans.
