This creamy salmon pasta bake is sure to impress! Flavorful, crispy, and ready in just 25 minutes, the oven does the rest!
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE PASTA CASSEROLE WITH SALMON
300g skinless salmon fillet
300g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
1 red bell pepper
1 garlic clove
150g peas (frozen)
125g cream cheese
150g heavy cream
150ml milk
2 medium eggs
½ tsp salt
1 large pinch of pepper
1 pinch of grated nutmeg
150g grated cheese
ALSO
1 tbsp olive oil (for the dish)
1 garlic clove (for the dish)

PREPARATION
1. Cut the salmon fillet into 2 x 2cm cubes. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and rinse with cold water. Wash, quarter, and deseed the bell peppers. Remove the white skin and then roughly dice.
2. Peel and finely chop the garlic clove. Rub the baking dish with olive oil and garlic clove. Add the precooked pasta. Add the salmon cubes, bell pepper pieces, and frozen peas to the baking dish.
3. Combine the cream cheese, cream, and milk in a blender. Separate the eggs and add the egg yolks. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and mix well.
4. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Pour the cream cheese and cream sauce into the baking dish and mix evenly with the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake on the middle rack for about 35 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
