Chocolate Chips Cookie
Ingredients:
1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200 g) white sugar
1 cup (220 g) brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups (360 g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
(Optional) 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually stir dry mixture into the wet mixture until combined.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips (and nuts, if using).
7. Drop spoonfuls (about 2 tbsp each) onto the baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are soft.
9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
