Crispy Cheesy Beef Tacos
Ingredients
For the beef filling:
500 g (1 lb) ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp cumin
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp tomato sauce or salsa
1 tbsp oil
For the taco shells:
2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
Small flour tortillas
Toppings:
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Sour cream or taco sauce

Instructions
Cook the Beef
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add onion and cook until soft.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Stir in chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce.
Simmer for 5 minutes, then set aside.
Make the Crispy Cheese Shells
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Sprinkle a thin layer of shredded cheese directly into the pan in a circle.
Place a tortilla on top of the melted cheese.
Cook until the cheese is golden and crispy.
Fill the Tacos
Add cooked beef to one half of the tortilla.
Fold carefully and press lightly.
Cook 1–2 minutes per side until crispy.
Add Toppings
Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and drizzle with sour cream or sauce.
Tips
Use mozzarella for extra stretch or cheddar for more flavor.
Serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
