HOMEMADE CAKES
Homemade Cocadas are traditional coconut treats popular in many Latin American countries, particularly in coastal regions.
They’re made by combining shredded coconut with sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and sometimes egg whites, resulting in a sticky, sweet mixture.
Ingredients:
150g grated coconut
3 large egg whites
5g sugar
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 2°C/3°F. 4.
1. In a large bowl, mix the coconut with the sugar and add the egg whites. Mix well until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
2. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star-shaped nozzle.
3. Place small individual cookies on prepared baking pan and bake with fan on for about 4 minutes.
