Hazelnut Cake
Hazelnut cake is a delectable dessert that captivates with its rich, nutty flavor and moist, tender texture. Made with ground hazelnuts, flour, eggs, sugar, and butter, this cake boasts a delicate crumb and a subtle sweetness that perfectly complements the earthy notes of the hazelnuts.
Ingredients :
– 3 eggs
– 100g of honey
– 130g of hazelnut milk
– 65g of compote
– 135g of flour
– 90g of hazelnut powder
– 8g yeast
Topping:
– 115g dark chocolate
– hazelnuts + praline
Preparation :
Preheat the oven to 175°c.
In a salad bowl, start by mixing the eggs with the honey then add the rest of the liquid ingredients and finish with the flour, hazelnut powder and yeast.
Mix everything well to obtain a very smooth dough and pour into a cake mold approximately 21cm long.
Bake for around 40 minutes, monitoring depending on the oven.
Check with the tip of a knife, it should come out dry.
Let cool before unmolding.
Prepare the topping by melting the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave with 1 tsp of coconut oil if necessary.
Cover the cooled cake and place a few pieces of hazelnut and praline on top.
If you want the chocolate to set, place it in the refrigerator for a few moments!!
