Wraps with falafel
Our wraps with falafel and a filling of avocado, herbs and tahini are prepared in a flash and taste wonderfully crunchy and fresh – so delicious!
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE TAHINI SAUCE
75 g natural yogurt
½ tbsp tahini
½ lemon
1 small clove of garlic
1 pinch of ground cumin
salt and pepper
FOR THE WRAPS
1 wheat tortilla or flatbread
½ avocado
4 – 5 falafel (from the refrigerated section)
1 handful of herbs (e.g. parsley, coriander and mint)
½ lime
some chili sauce (e.g. Sriracha)
PREPARATION
1. To make the tahini sauce, stir together the yogurt and tahini in a small bowl.
Squeeze the lemon, peel the garlic and chop or press finely.
Add lemon juice and garlic to the bowl along with cumin. Mix everything together well and season with salt and pepper.
2. For the wraps, heat the tortilla or flatbread in a pan without fat over medium heat – depending on the package instructions, about 30-60 seconds on each side. Slice the avocado.
Spread the tahini sauce on the flatbread and top with falafel and avocado. Wash the herbs, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stems.
Squeeze out the lime. Add herbs to the wraps and drizzle everything with lime juice.
Season with chili sauce and salt and pepper as desired. Roll up the wraps tightly and enjoy. Bon appetit!
