Birthday candles cake
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BAKING TRAY (APPROX. 40 X 30 CM)
A little fat
ALL-IN-DOUGH
300 g wheat flour
3 level tsp Dr. Oetker Original Baking Powder
75 g Dr. Oetker Cocoa
250 g soft butter or margarine
200 g sugar
1 pack Dr. Oetker Vanillin Sugar
5 eggs (size M)
100 ml milk
BANANA CREAM FILLING
800 g cold whipped cream
4 packs Dr. Oetker cream stiffener
3 packs of Dr. Oetker vanilla sugar
250 g quark (low fat)
100 g Dr. Oetker grated chocolate, whole milk
1 ½ – 2 kg bananas (about 8-10 pieces)
PREPARATION
1. Prepare
Grease the baking tray. Preheat the oven.
Top and bottom heat: about 170 °C
Hot air: about 150 °C
2. Prepare the all-in dough
Mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix everything with a mixer (beaters) briefly on the lowest setting, then on the highest setting for 2 minutes to form a smooth dough. Spread the dough evenly on the baking tray and bake.
Insert: middle
Baking time: about 20 minutes
Let the cake cool on the tray on a cake rack.
3. Prepare the cake
Using a tablespoon, remove a good 1/2 cm of the cake base and crumble the pastry pieces in a bowl.
4. Prepare the banana and cream filling
Peel the bananas, halve them horizontally and place them evenly on the base.
Beat the cream with cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff.
Stir in the quark and chocolate shavings. Spread the topping evenly over the cake. Spread the crumbs over the cake.
Put the mole cake in the fridge until ready to eat.
5. Decorate
Decorate with candles before eating.
