Strawberry chocolate cake

Strawberry chocolate cake for Mother’s Day – Easy & Quick

Discover the recipe for an irresistible strawberry chocolate cake with brownie base, chocolate mousse, quark and vanilla cream – ideal for Mother’s Day!

For the brownie base you need:

– 150g dark chocolate
– 200g butter
– 40g cocoa
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 3 eggs
– 1 pinch of salt
– 100g sugar
– 200g flour
– 1.5 tsp baking powder
– 100g ground almonds

Preparation:

1. Gently melt the butter and dark chocolate.

2. Stir the eggs, salt, sugar and vanilla extract until creamy, then work in the chocolate mixture.

3. Fold in the almonds, flour, cocoa and baking powder, pour into a 26 cm tin and smooth out.

4. Bake at 170°C for 20 minutes; it should remain slightly moist on the inside. Allow to cool completely.

For the chocolate mousse filling:

– 1 pack of chocolate cake cream (according to the instructions on the packet)

For the quark and strawberry filling:

– 1 pack of strawberry quark dessert (according to the instructions on the packet, use cream instead of milk for more firmness)
– 250g strawberries, chopped and folded in

For the vanilla cream:

– 2 packs of vanilla paradise cream (according to the instructions on the packet, use cream instead of milk)

Assemble the cake:

1. Place the cake ring around the brownie base.

2. Spread the chocolate cream on top and chill for 30 minutes.

3. Spread the quark cream on the chocolate cream, then smooth the vanilla cream on top.

4. Allow to set in the fridge overnight.

Decorate the cake as you like and enjoy it on special occasions like Mother’s Day!
