Chocolate Bundt cake
If you like chocolate, you’ll love this cake. The moist chocolate Bundt cake is super quick to bake in the oven and is simply the perfect classic for the coffee table.
INGREDIENTS (For a 24 cm Bundt cake pan)
250 g soft butter
200 g powdered sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
4 eggs
300 g flour
40 g cocoa powder
3 tsp baking powder
250 ml milk
200 g dark chocolate shavings
200 g dark chocolate coating
PREPARATION
1st step
Mix the butter with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff and set aside. Gradually stir the egg yolks into the butter mixture.
2nd step
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan oven: 160 degrees). Mix the flour with the cocoa powder and baking powder and stir into the dough. Add the milk and stir. Carefully fold in the egg whites. Finally, fold the dark chocolate shavings into the dough. Rinse the silicone Bundt cake tin (Ø 24 cm) with cold water, do not dry it! Pour the dough into it and smooth it out a little. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 60-70 minutes. Allow to cool completely, then turn it out of the tin.
Step 3
For the glaze, melt the dark chocolate coating in a water bath. Place the cake on a nice cake plate and pour the chocolate coating over it. Allow the chocolate coating to set.
