A rich and indulgent layered dessert featuring moist chocolate cake, creamy cheesecake filling, crunchy cookie crumbles, and a luscious caramel drizzle. Every bite is decadent, crunchy, creamy, and absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cake Layers:

2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups granulated sugar
1½ teaspoons baking powder
1½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

For the Cheesecake Filling:

16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks

For the Cookie Crumble Layer:

1½ cups chocolate chip cookies, crushed
½ cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)

For the Caramel Drizzle:

1 cup granulated sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon sea salt

For the Topping:

Chocolate-dipped cookies (or any chocolate caramel cookies)
Extra caramel drizzle
Cookie crumbles for garnish

Directions:

1️⃣ Make the Chocolate Cake Layers:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin—this ensures a moist cake).
Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cakes cool completely before assembling.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Chill until ready to use.

In a saucepan over medium heat, heat sugar while stirring constantly until it melts into an amber-colored liquid.
Add butter and stir until fully melted.
Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously.
