Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake
Ingredients
Cake:
1 ½ cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (50 g) cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup (150 g) sugar
½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup (180 ml) milk
¾ cup (120 g) chocolate chips
Chocolate Glaze:
1 cup (170 g) milk chocolate or chocolate spread
2 tbsp heavy cream (optional, for smoothness)

Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the cake:
Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk sugar, oil (or butter), eggs, and vanilla.
Add milk and mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
Fold in chocolate chips.
2️⃣ Bake:
Pour batter into the loaf pan.
Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely.
3️⃣ Make the glaze:
Melt chocolate with cream using a microwave or double boiler.
Pour the melted chocolate over the cooled cake.
✅ Tips:
For extra moisture, add 2 tbsp yogurt or sour cream to the batter.
You can use dark, milk, or white chocolate chips.
Serve with coffee or milk.
