Chocolate Almond Croissants
Ingredients:
4 large croissants (day-old works best)
1/2 cup almond flour (or finely ground almonds)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
1/3 cup chocolate chips or melted chocolate
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare Almond Filling:
In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, softened butter, egg, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
Slice Croissants:
Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally like a sandwich.
Fill Croissants:
Spread almond filling inside each croissant. Add chocolate chips or drizzle melted chocolate inside. Close the croissants.
Top Croissants:
Spread a little almond filling on top of each croissant. Sprinkle sliced almonds over them.
Bake:
Place croissants on the prepared tray and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
Decorate & Serve:
Drizzle melted chocolate over the croissants and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
