Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake
Ingredients
For the crust:
1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
5 tablespoons melted butter
For the chocolate cheesecake layer:
2 cups cream cheese (softened)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate (melted and slightly cooled)
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped to soft peaks)
For the chocolate ganache topping:
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
For decoration:
Extra whipped cream or chocolate mousse (optional)

Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the crust:
Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
2️⃣ Make the chocolate cheesecake filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix well.
Stir in melted chocolate until fully combined.
Gently fold in whipped cream until smooth and fluffy.
Spread the mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).
3️⃣ Prepare the ganache:
Heat heavy cream until hot (not boiling).
Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
Stir until smooth and glossy.
Let it cool slightly, then pour over the cheesecake.
4️⃣ Decorate:
Pipe whipped cream or chocolate mousse on top if desired.
Chill before serving
Refrigerate 30–60 minutes after adding ganache for a perfect glossy finish.
