Pineapple pie

Pineapple pie is a delightful and tropical twist on the classic dessert. This pie typically features a buttery, flaky crust that cradles a luscious filling made from fresh or canned pineapple chunks.


4 cups of sifted flour
2 ½ cups of sugar
300g butter panels
6 eggs
½ cup of milk
1 can of pineapple wheels in syrup
½ cup of cherries
1 tbsp royal powder
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of water


Beat the butter with the sugar until it is very creamy, add the egg yellows and continue beating.  Add the milk and syrup alternating with the flour and royal powder. 

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.  Separately, prepare a candy by boiling the sugar and water, until obtaining a slightly golden color, place it in a round mold where the pine cones are distributed decoratively with the cherries in the center, pour the mixture over the candy with the pine cones and take it.

Bake for 40 minutes at 350º until a toothpick inserted in it comes out completely clean.  Turn while still warm.  .
