Banana cake

Banana cake

Banana cake is a delicious dessert made from crushed ripe bananas, which are mixed with ingredients such as flour, sugar, eggs and oil.  Its moist texture and sweet flavor with hints of banana make it a favorite of many people.  It can be garnished with nuts, cinnamon or even chocolate to add more flavors to this delicious treat.

• 3 ripe bananas

• 1/2 cup (120 ml) of vegetable oil (can be canola, sunflower, etc.)

• 1 cup (200 g) of sugar

• 2 eggs

• 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2 cups (250 g) of wheat flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Before making the banana cake, make sure the bananas are ripe for a sweeter flavor and use a well-greased pan to prevent sticking.

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan with butter or cooking spray.

2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

3. Add the vegetable oil and sugar to the mashed bananas.  Mix well until the ingredients are combined.

4. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.  Add the vanilla essence and mix again.

5. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.  Combine the dry ingredients.

6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet banana mixture in several additions, mixing gently after each addition.  Don’t overmix, just enough to combine the ingredients.

7. If you want to add chopped nuts, chocolate chips or other ingredients, add them now and mix.

8. Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and spread it evenly.

9. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

10. Once it is ready, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the mold for about 10-15 minutes before removing it from the mold.  Then place it on a wire rack to cool completely.

Ready!  Now you have a delicious banana cake.  You can enjoy it as a dessert or as a tasty snack at any time of the day.  Enjoy!
