Birthday candles cake
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BAKING TRAY (APPROXIMATELY 40 X 30 CM)
a little fat
ALL-IN DOUGH
300 g wheat flour
3 teaspoons Dr. Oetker Original Backin
75g Dr. Oetker cocoa
250g soft butter or margarine
200g sugar
1 pack Dr. Oetker vanilla sugar
5 eggs (size M)
100 ml milk
BANANA CREAM FILLING
800 g cold whipped cream
4 packs Dr. Oetker cream stiff
3 packs Dr. Oetker vanilla sugar
250 g quark (lean level)
100 g Dr. Oetker rasp chocolate whole milk
1 ½ – 2 kg bananas (about 8-10 pieces)
PREPARATION
1. Prepare
Grease baking tray. Preheat oven.
Top and bottom heat: around 170 °C
Hot air: around 150°C
2. Prepare all-in dough
Mix flour with cocoa and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and process everything with a mixer (mixing rods) briefly on the lowest setting and then on the highest setting for 2 minutes to form a smooth dough. Spread the dough evenly on the baking tray and bake.
Inset: middle
Baking time: about 20 minutes.
Let the cake cool on the tray on a cake rack.
3. Prepare cake
Use a tablespoon to remove a good 1/2 cm depth from the cake base and crumble the pastry pieces in a bowl.
4. Prepare the banana and cream filling
Peel the bananas, cut them in half horizontally and place them evenly on the base.
Beat the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff. Stir in the quark and chocolate shavings. Spread the topping evenly over the cake. Spread the crumbs over the cake.
Place the mole cake in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
5. Decorate
Decorate with candles before eating.
