Verrines of cream
Verrines of cream
Verrines of cream are delightful little desserts or appetizers served in small glasses or jars, showcasing layers of contrasting flavors and textures.
Ingredients: Serves 8
4 bananas
1 packet of small butter or speculoos
50 g melted butter
1 jar of salted butter caramel
500 ml whipping cream
500 ml pastry cream, recipe here
A few squares of dark chocolate (to decorate)
Preparation:
In the glasses, distribute the speculoos or crumbled butter biscuits mixed with the melted butter.
Then pour 2 to 3 spoons of pastry cream and distribute the peeled and sliced bananas.
Pour a large tablespoon of salted butter caramel (depending on your appetite) (warm in the microwave for best use). Be careful, however, to let it cool before adding the whipped cream!
In a very cold bowl, beat the cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar until you obtain the consistency of whipped cream. Put it in a piping bag and distribute the cream among the glasses.
Reserve in a cool place. When serving, grate chocolate over the glasses, decorate with slices of banana and enjoy
