Strawberry cake

Strawberry cake is a delicious creation that combines the sponginess of cake with the freshness and sweetness of strawberries.  Its intense aroma and flavor make it an irresistible option for lovers of fruit desserts.  Perfect served with a touch of whipped cream or enjoyed on its own.


• 2 cups of fresh strawberries, washed, disinfected and cut into small pieces

• 2 cups of all-purpose flour

• 1 cup of sugar

• 1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)

• 1/2 cup of milk

• 3 eggs

• 2 teaspoons baking powder

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

Select fresh, ripe strawberries to enhance the flavor of your cake, and be sure to sift the flour for a fluffier texture.  Enjoy baking!


1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).  Grease and flour a cake pan.

2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.

3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Add the vanilla extract and mix.

4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.

5. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk.  Start and end with the dry ingredients.

6. Add the strawberries cut into small pieces to the mixture and stir gently to distribute them evenly.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

9. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

And ready!  Now you have a delicious strawberry cake.  You can sprinkle icing sugar on top or accompany it with whipped cream if you wish.  Enjoy it!
