Pasta casserole with ham

You can quickly make the simple pasta casserole with ham, cream and cheese yourself with our recipe. It will be particularly creamy!

1 medium-sized onion
1 clove of garlic
250 g pasta (e.g. penne)
a little salt
20 g butter
2 tbsp olive oil
200 g cooked ham
2 eggs
250 ml cream
1 pinch of pepper
1 pinch of ground nutmeg
200 g grated cheese

1. Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Boil the pasta in boiling, well-salted water for 3 minutes less than the time indicated on the packet. Drain the pasta, rinse briefly with cold water and allow to drain.

2. Heat the butter with the olive oil in a pan and sweat the onion cubes and garlic over a low heat for about 5 minutes until translucent. Meanwhile, cut the ham into strips and add.

3. Whisk the eggs with the cream, add a pinch of salt, pepper and nutmeg. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air (200 degrees top and bottom heat).

4. Put the cooked pasta in the casserole dish, add the onions and ham from the pan and mix everything together. Pour the egg and cream mixture evenly over it.

Finally, sprinkle the cheese generously over the casserole. Put the casserole in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
