Baked Pork Loin

Baked Pork Loin

Baked pork loin is a delightful dish perfect for any occasion. To prepare it, start by seasoning the pork loin with a blend of herbs and spices, such as garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Ingredients

3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
1 kg pork loin
¼ cup (65 ml) olive oil
½ cup (125 ml) white wine

Preparation

1-Preheat the oven to 180°C.

2-Crush the garlic together with the rosemary, salt and pepper until forming a paste.  Make several holes in different parts of it and fill them with the paste.  Spread the rest of the paste over the meat and do the same with the olive oil.

3-Place the meat in a casserole or Dutch oven and bake for approximately 2 hours, turning it and bathing it in its own juices.  Transfer to a platter once fully cooked.

4-Heat the wine on the stove in the same saucepan or Dutch oven, removing the pieces of meat stuck to the bottom of it with a spatula.  Use these juices to baste the meat when serving.
