Apple pie without butter
Apple pie without butter is so juicy and delicious. The delicious cake is in the oven in just 20 minutes. You will make this recipe again and again.
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE DOUGH
600 g sour apples
2 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp ground cinnamon
230 g wheat flour (type 405)
150 g brown sugar
1 pack vanilla sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
4 eggs (size M)
3 tbsp lemon juice
ALSO
1 tbsp brown sugar for the mold
PREPARATION
Step 1
For the dough, wash the apples, pat them dry and peel them. Quarter the fruit, cut out the core and cut the apple quarters into slices about 2 cm thick.
Mix the slices with lemon juice and cinnamon. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (fan oven: 160 degrees). Line the bottom of a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) with baking paper.
2nd step
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar on the prepared springform pan. Arrange the apple slices on top.
3rd step
Mix the flour, remaining 150 g sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the eggs, mineral water and lemon juice to the flour mixture and mix all ingredients to form a smooth dough.
4th step
Pour the dough onto the apple slices and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 30-35 minutes. Remove the edge of the springform pan immediately after baking.
Turn the cake out onto a cake plate and allow to cool completely. The apple cake without butter with oil makes approx. 12 pieces and will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for at least 3 days.
