The very best cookies… you can now easily make them yourself!  When topped with chocolate chips, the dessert tastes absolutely heavenly!

INGREDIENTS

125g soft butter
140 g brown whole cane sugar
1 tbsp honey
1 egg (size M)
1 tsp vanilla paste
½ tsp salt
1½ tsp baking powder
250 g flour (Type 405)
150 g bake-proof chocolate chips (chocolate chunks)

PREPARATION

1. Mix the butter with the whole cane sugar.  Add the honey, egg and vanilla paste and mix for 2 more minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat (fan oven 160 degrees).

2. Mix the salt, baking powder and flour well and knead everything into a compact dough.

Mix in the chocolate chips by hand.  Line a baking tray (30 x 40 cm) with baking paper.

3. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop out balls, shape them into round shapes with your hands and press them slightly flat.

Place the cookies on the tray with a little space between them.  Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 12 minutes.  Enjoy your meal!
