Raffaello

Make your own Raffaello

It’s so easy to make your own Raffaello! With our recipe with white chocolate, cream and coconut flakes, the filled balls are ready in no time – you have to try it!

INGREDIENTS (For 18 pieces)

200 g white chocolate
50 g butter
100 g cream
1 pack vanilla sugar
125 g coconut flakes
18 pieces peeled almonds

PREPARATION

Step 1
Roughly chop the white chocolate. Put the butter, cream and vanilla sugar in a saucepan and slowly melt over a low heat, stirring frequently. Add the chocolate and let it melt.

Step 2
Stir 50 g of the coconut flakes into the mixture. Chill the initially quite liquid chocolate mixture for about 1 hour until it is creamy and firm.

Step 3
Pour the remaining coconut flakes into a flat bowl.  Scoop out 1 teaspoon of the chocolate mixture and press a whole almond into it with your fingers. Cover the almond with the mixture and roll it briefly in the coconut flakes. Place on a plate.

4th step
Cool the finished Raffaello balls for at least 30 minutes before serving. Store in a cool place. The recipe makes about 18 balls.

Our tip
Delicious variety
Instead of white, try the homemade Raffaello with dark chocolate. The coconut balls will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for at least 2 days.
