INGREDIENTS
FOR THE PASTA CASSEROLE WITH SALMON
300 g salmon fillet without skin
300 g pasta (e.g. penne or fusilli)
1 red pepper
1 clove of garlic
150 g peas (frozen)
125 g cream cheese
150 g cream
150 ml milk
2 eggs (size M)
½ tsp salt
1 large pinch of pepper
1 pinch of grated nutmeg
150 g grated cheese
ALSO
1 tbsp olive oil (for the mold)
1 clove of garlic (for the mold)
PREPARATION
1. Cut the salmon fillet into 2 x 2 cm cubes. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain and rinse with cold water. Wash the peppers, quarter them and remove the seeds. Remove the white pieces of skin and then roughly dice.
2. Peel the garlic clove and chop finely. Rub the casserole dish with the olive oil and the garlic clove. Add the pre-cooked pasta. Add the salmon cubes, pepper pieces and frozen peas to the casserole dish.
3. Put the cream cheese, cream and milk in a blender. Separate the eggs and add the egg yolks. Use a hand blender to make a creamy sauce. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix well.
4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air. Put the cream cheese and cream sauce in the casserole dish and mix evenly with the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake on the middle rack for about 35 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
