Homemade Parigina Pizza is a delightful Italian dish that combines the rich flavors of traditional pizza with a unique twist. Parigina Pizza is known for its stuffed crust, where the edges are filled with a luscious blend of cheese and other ingredients.


For the mass:

520g flour
260ml hot water
7g dry yeast
30ml olive oil
10g salt

For the filling:

500g tomato sauce
6 slices of ham
8 slices of cheese
20ml olive oil
6g salt

For coverage:

1 sheet of puff pastry
20ml heavy cream
1 egg yolk


1. In a bowl, mix warm water with dry yeast and let it rest for 7 minutes.

2. Pour in the oil and beat.

3. Add the flour and salt, and stir with a spatula to combine.

4. Continue kneading the dough with your hands for 5 minutes.  Make a ball of the dough and spray it with oil.  Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5. Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet and press to cover the surface of the sheet.  Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 20 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, mix the tomato sauce with olive oil and salt.

7. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough.

8. Top with slices of ham and cheese.

9. Cover with a sheet of puff pastry and prick with a fork.

10. In a bowl, combine egg yolk with heavy cream.  Brush the puff pastry with the egg and cream mixture.  Bake preheated at 180°C/360°F for 35-40 minutes.

11. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes.  Cut, serve and enjoy!
