FRIED CHEESECAKE

FRIED CHEESECAKE

Ingredients:

200g grated cheese (can be mozzarella, cheddar or your favourite)
1 cup of wheat flour
1 egg
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Go out to the pleasure
Oil for frying

Preparation:

1. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

2. In another bowl, beat the egg and add the milk. Pour this liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until you get a homogeneous batter.

3. Add the grated cheese to the mixture and stir well to integrate into the batter.

4. On a slightly floured surface, spread the dough with a roller until it is approximately 1 cm thick.

5. Cut the dough into squares from 5 to 7 cm sideways, depending on the size you prefer for cakes.

6. Heat enough oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

7. When oil is hot, place dough squares in the oil and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.

8. Remove cakes from oil and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess grease.
