STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU
STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU 😋
Strawberry tiramisu is a delicious and refreshing twist on the classic Italian dessert. It’s made with ladyfingers soaked in a sweet strawberry syrup, layered with whipped mascarpone cream and fresh strawberries. The result is a light and airy dessert that is perfect for spring or summer.
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounces mascarpone cheese
1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
24 ladyfingers
Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Stir well to coat the strawberries in sugar. Set aside and let them macerate for about 15 minutes.
In another mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese until well combined.
Dip each ladyfinger into the brewed coffee and arrange a layer of them in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
Spoon a layer of macerated strawberries over the cream mixture.
Repeat the layers, starting with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the cream mixture, and then the strawberries. Continue until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cream on top.
Cover the dish or glasses with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
Just before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
