Fish and shrimp ceviche
Fish and shrimp ceviche is a delicious and refreshing dish originating from Latin America. To prepare it, start by dicing fresh fish fillets and shrimp into bite-sized pieces.
Ingredients
6 fish fillets to taste
(I used tilapia)
1 kilo of medium shrimp
6 chopped tomatoes
2 chopped cucumbers
1 chopped onion, I used purple, but it can be white.
1 bunch of chopped cilantro
3 serrano chiles, chopped
The juice of 10 lemons
Salt to taste
Preparation
1.- The fish fillets are chopped very finely, the shrimp are peeled and cleaned well, they are also cut finely and the fillets and shrimp are placed in a container.
2.- Add the juice of the 10 lemons, let it rest for 3 hours in the refrigerator, stirring from time to time so that it tans evenly in the lemon.
3.- After the tanning time has passed, add the chopped vegetables, salt, mix well and that’s it, eat it with toast or cookies.
NOTE:
You can make the ceviche only with fish fillets to taste if you wish.
