CHOCOLATE CUPS WITH LEMON MOUSSE

CHOCOLATE CUPS WITH LEMON MOUSSE

Chocolate cups filled with lemon mousse are a delightful combination of rich and tangy flavors. To make these delectable treats, start by melting high-quality dark chocolate and coating the inside of small silicone cupcake molds with it.

Ingredients

500g fractionated milk chocolate
Mousse
1 can of condensed milk
1/2 cup (tea) lemon juice
1 cup (tea) chopped white chocolate
1 cup chilled fresh cream
lemon zest for garnish

Method of preparation

Melt the fractionated chocolate in a bain-marie, brush the chocolate on the inside of disposable coffee cups and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Repeat the procedure 2 more times.  Let it dry, carefully unmold it and reserve it in the fridge.

In a bowl, mix the condensed milk with the lemon juice until thick.  Add the melted white chocolate in a bain-marie and mix.

Beat the well-chilled cream with a mixer at medium speed until firm peaks form.
Mix with the previous cream.

Distribute into cups and sprinkle with zest.
Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
