Farfalle with cheese and herb sauce

Quick, easy and great for everyday use: Farfalle with cheese and herb sauce is a great main dish for you and your family. Try it out!

INGREDIENTS

1 clove of garlic
1 medium onion
300 g farfalle
30 g butter
20 g flour
200 ml milk
200 ml cream
150 g grated cheese (e.g. Parmesan, Pecorino or blue cheese)
1½ tsp salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 pinch of grated nutmeg
Fresh herbs (e.g. chives, dill or parsley)

PREPARATION

1. Peel the garlic and chop finely. Peel the onion and dice finely. Cook the farfalle in a pan according to the instructions on the packet. Melt the butter in a smaller pan.  Sauté the chopped garlic clove and the onion for 1 minute over medium heat.

2. Stir in the flour with a wooden spoon and deglaze with the milk and cream. Bring the sauce to the boil once and stir in the grated cheese until it has melted.

3. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and grated nutmeg. Drain the farfalle and mix with the sauce. Wash the herbs, drain, chop finely and pour over the pasta just before serving. Enjoy!
