Gooseberry jam
Fruity and so delicious: You can make gooseberry jam yourself quickly and easily. It tastes so irresistibly good: you will love it!
INGREDIENTS
1 kg gooseberries
1 lemon (the juice)
500 g gelling sugar 2:1
PREPARATION
1. Wash and sort the gooseberries. Remove the stalk and halve the berries. Put the halved gooseberries in a pot and pour the lemon juice over them.
2. Add the gelling sugar and mix with the halved gooseberries. Stir well. Heat everything slowly and cook for 4-5 minutes.
3. Pour the jam into hot, rinsed and clean jars (200 g each) and close the jars. Turn upside down for about 10 minutes to preserve the jam.
