Potato wedges
Potato wedges
You can easily make the crispy potato wedges from the tray yourself in the oven! A herb curd or delicious dips go great with them.
INGREDIENTS
800 g potatoes (floury)
2 tbsp sunflower oil
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp coarse sea salt flakes (of your choice)
PREPARATION
1. Wash the potatoes well, drain and cut them lengthways into sixths or eighths with the skin on.
2. In a bowl, mix the sunflower oil with the olive oil, salt and paprika powder. Stir in the pepper and marinate the potatoes with the oil and spice mixture. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees circulating air (220 degrees top and bottom heat).
3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the potatoes one at a time on the baking paper, leaving some space between them. Cook in the oven for about 30 minutes until crispy and golden brown. After 15 minutes of baking, turn the potatoes over – this will make them really crispy on both sides. Optionally, sprinkle the potato wedges with sea salt flakes after baking. Enjoy!
