Chocolate Caramel Rice Krispies Bars
Ingredients
1️⃣ Base Layer (Rice Krispies)
3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
2 tbsp butter
200 g (7 oz) marshmallows
2️⃣ Caramel Layer
200 g (7 oz) soft caramels or dulce de leche
3 tbsp heavy cream
3️⃣ Chocolate Layer
200 g (7 oz) milk chocolate
1 tbsp butter (optional, for shine)

Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Rice Krispies Base
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
Remove from heat and mix in Rice Krispies cereal.
Press the mixture firmly into a lined square pan.
Let it cool for 10 minutes.
2️⃣ Make the Caramel Layer
Melt caramels with heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Spread the caramel evenly over the Rice Krispies layer.
Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until set.
3️⃣ Add the Chocolate Layer
Melt chocolate (with butter if using) using a microwave or double boiler.
Spread melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
Refrigerate for 30–40 minutes until firm.
Cut & Serve
Cut into squares and enjoy!
