Chicken Recipes



Chicken nuggets are a classic and delicious option that is loved by both children and adults.  Homemade chicken nuggets have a crispy and golden exterior texture, thanks to the breading, while the interior remains tender and juicy.


500g boneless, skinless chicken breast,
1 cup of breadcrumbs,
1/2 cup of wheat flour,
2 eggs,
1 teaspoon garlic powder,
1 teaspoon onion powder,
Salt and pepper to taste,
Vegetable oil for frying.


Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  Cut the chicken breast into small pieces, the size of nuggets.  In a small bowl, beat the eggs.

In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.  In a third bowl, place the wheat flour.  Dredge each piece of chicken in the wheat flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, making sure they are well coated at each step.  Place the breaded chicken nuggets on the prepared baking sheet.

Spray the nuggets lightly with vegetable oil.  Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, making sure to turn them halfway through the cooking time so they brown evenly.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.  Enjoy your homemade chicken nuggets with your favorite sauce!
