Salmon in the oven

Salmon in the oven

Salmon in the oven – our simple recipe always impresses.  The salmon fillet is prepared in a flash and only cooked briefly in the oven – this makes it particularly juicy and tender!

1 – 2 cloves of garlic
3 – 4 branches
fresh herbs (e.g. dill or parsley)
2 tsp coarse mustard
2 tsp honey
3 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt
1 lemon
3 fresh salmon fillets (1 fillet = 150 g)
1 organic lemon

1. Peel the garlic and chop or press very finely.  Wash the herbs, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stems and chop finely.  Mix the mustard with the honey, olive oil and salt.  Squeeze the lemon and stir in the juice.  Preheat the oven to 160 degrees fan (180 degrees top and bottom heat).

2. Brush the salmon fillets on both sides with the marinade and place on a plate or in an ovenproof dish.  Cook the fish in the oven for about 8-10 minutes.

3. Wash the lemon, dry it and cut it into thin slices.  Cover the salmon fillets with the lemon slices.  Bon appetit!
