Blender cake is a quick and easy option to prepare a delicious cake.  You just need to mix the ingredients in the blender, pour the dough into a mold and bake.  It’s perfect for when you’re short on time but want to enjoy a homemade dessert.

• 3 eggs

• 1 cup of sugar

• 1 cup of wheat flour

• 1/2 cup of milk

• 1/4 cup vegetable oil (you can use canola, corn or sunflower oil)

• 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 teaspoon baking powder (chemical yeast)

• A pinch of salt

Before preparing a cake in a blender, make sure you have all the ingredients measured and ready, and oil or line the mold properly to prevent it from sticking.

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake tin of approximately 22 cm in diameter with butter or oil and sprinkle a little flour so that the cake does not stick.

2. In the blender, add the eggs, sugar, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla essence.  Blend on low speed until the ingredients are well mixed.

3. Add the flour, baking powder and pinch of salt to the blender.  Blend on low speed at first to prevent the flour from spilling, and then gradually increase the speed until the dough is smooth and lump-free.  Stop the blender and scrape the sides with a spatula if necessary to make sure all the ingredients are mixed evenly.

4. Pour the dough into the previously prepared mold.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

6. Once ready, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing it from the pan.  Then place it on a wire rack to cool completely.

7. You can decorate the cake as you wish, with icing sugar, melted chocolate, fresh fruits or whatever you prefer.

Ready!  Now you can enjoy this delicious blender cake that is so easy to make.  Pair it with a coffee or tea and share this recipe with your friends and family so they can also enjoy its unique flavor.
